What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deli Supervisor position at Green Life Market?
Manage staff and production / display of products in department. Train employees and manage daily customer service. Maintain department cleanliness and cleaning schedules. Communicate with manager on duty, and closing manager about all necessary information.
Additional Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service and ensure that customer needs are met in a timely manner
- Properly operate equipment required for preparing products for customers including juicers, panini press, blenders, etc.
- Prepare, package, weigh and price products for sale
- Prepare menu items and additional products according to company procedures
- Maintain a clean and well-organized work station
- Properly label and maintain signage of products including ingredients and allergen information
- Properly set up and break down the deli according to company procedures
- Manage quality and freshness of products by properly rotating and monitoring dates
- Follow and comply with standard procedures from Weights and Measures, health and sanitation and safe work practices.
