We are expanding our team and seeking an experienced Pool Repair Technician to help maintain and repair pools for our valued customers.
Position Summary:
The Pool Repair Technician will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining residential and commercial pools. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in pool service and a strong understanding of pool equipment, including pumps, filters, and plumbing. This role requires technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs and maintenance on pool systems, including pumps, filters, heaters, and plumbing.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with pool equipment and water quality.
- Perform pool cleaning and maintenance, such as skimming, vacuuming, and chemical testing as needed.
- Install and replace pool equipment, including pumps, motors, filters, and other components.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following industry and company safety protocols.
- Communicate with clients to explain repairs, maintenance needs, and provide recommendations for pool care.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation of work performed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in pool service or maintenance preferred.
- Knowledge of pool equipment and systems, including pumps, filters, heaters, and plumbing.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair pool-related issues.
- Familiarity with water chemistry and pool care best practices.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods.
