**Job Posting: Dietary Aide - Evening Shift (11:30am-7:00pm) - Full-Time**
Greenbriar Nursing Center, located in D'Iberville, MS, is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Dietary Aide. This position is for the evening shift, from 11:30am to 7:00pm, on a full-time basis. We are an equal opportunity employer offering full-time hours with benefits.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents according to their individual dietary needs and preferences.
- Follow standardized recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistency and quality of food.
- Set up dining areas and assist with cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including storage areas and refrigeration units.
- Communicate effectively with the dietary team and other staff members to ensure efficient meal service and resident satisfaction.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to resident inquiries and requests in a professional and courteous manner.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a dietary or food service role is preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when interacting with residents.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of resident information.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
