Greenbridge is seeking a Grinder Operator to support the ongoing growth of the company. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Requirements
· Grinding preforms, strapping and scrap to supply production. Monitor quality of ground material.
· Accurately report the amount and type of material ground. Work with minimal supervision.
· Provide backup for Receiving Dept.: railcar unloading; reading silos; loading recycled cardboard; unloading packaging supplies; etc.
· Blade changes, dust collector filter servicing (cleaning, changing)
· Work safely, understand and comply with all safety requirements
· Maintain clean work area (grinding room, material staging areas, receiving aisle)
· Able to safely and effectively operate a forklift to stack, unstack and position gaylords and tubs
· Able to work independently to complete tasks safely and efficiently
· Able to use hand tools for servicing grinder
