Since inception, GreenCitizen has saved nearly 30 million pounds of electronics from landfills and dumps, and has extended the life of over 250,000 reusable computers and electronics.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in determining the value of recycled electronics, computers, or their components
- Evaluate electronics and computers, writing detailed descriptions based on their functionality.
- Testing and refurbishing electronics, computers, and computer parts, for advertisement and sale on eBay, Amazon, and our retail store channels.
Required Skills and Qualities:
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Readily identify internal computer components
- Work quickly, with a strong attention to detail, and low error rate
Bonus Skills and Experience:
- A or equivalent certification
- Computer repair
- Sales and value research
- Enterprise networking
- Data center or client/server hardware
- Component level repair
Hours and compensation:
40 hours a week; the shift is Monday through Friday. The compensation is dependent on qualification.
Location:
This job is based in Burlingame near the Millbrae BART and Caltrain Station.
