Role Description
The position of Business Development Engineer is a unique opportunity for the right individual. In this position, the individual will be empowered to create and pursue their own product portfolio within the Greene Rubber engineered products group. In this role, the successful candidate will work strategically with our engineering management, sales, and marketing staff to identify industries, customers, and technologies to pursue. The candidate will work directly with customers on development projects, while also managing new product launches from design through validation and production launch. The candidate will collaborate with our engineering and manufacturing teams to identify new process technologies and material science requirements that support future business opportunities and facilitate their implementation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Design and project management experience in motion control, noise vibration and shock control, or sealing system industries.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently.
- A proven track record of successful product development.
- Knowledge of rubber polymers is a plus.
