Position Overview : The Sr. Quality Manager will oversee the corporate quality system and quality functions for our two manufacturing sites located in Woburn, MA, and Danielson, CT. This role is based in Woburn, MA, with regular travel to the Danielson, CT site. The Sr. Quality Manager will focus on maintaining and enhancing the corporate quality system and improving manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with ISO9001 : 2015 and AS9100 : 2016 standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the corporate quality system in compliance with
ISO9001 : 2015 and AS9100 : 2016 standards.
Oversee quality functions at both manufacturing sites, ensuring consistent application of quality policies andprocedures.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with qualitystandards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements that enhance productquality and operational efficiency.
Provide leadership and guidance to quality teams at both sites, fostering a culture of continuous improvementand quality excellence.
Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics, identifying trends and implementing corrective actions asneeded.
Ensure effective communication and coordination between the Woburn and Danielson sites regarding quality -related matters.
Stay current with industry best practices and regulatory requirements, ensuring the company's quality systemremains up-to-date and effective.
Manage customer and third-party audits, addressing any findings and implementing corrective actions.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in quality management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.In-depth knowledge of ISO9001 : 2015 and AS9100 : 2016 standards.Proven experience in developing and maintaining quality systems.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to travel regularly between Woburn, MA, Danielson, CT, and other travel as required.Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent ResidentBasic understanding of Mechanical (GD&T) drawings
