Position Overview:
We are currently hiring a Polisher to work at our Waynesboro, GA location. Candidates must have experience in buffing and polishing and/or grinding various stainless steel metal parts. Must have a willingness to learn and be reliable.
Job Responsibilities:
- Polishing, buffing, and finishing metal or steel articles to remove excess metal or surface defects.
- Selecting belt or wheel according to grain size, type or finish specified.
- Examining and feeling surface of metal to detect defects, such as dents, scratches, or breaks in metal.
- Ensuring strong attention to detail to ensure a high level of visual quality parts.
Qualifications:
- Previous buffing and polishing experience a plus.
- Superior attention to detail.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to lift 75-100 pounds consistently.
- Ability to stand, bend, twist and reach throughout 10-hour shift.
- Positive attitude and team player.
