In this challenging role, you will be supporting the CPT-Computer Technology department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following.
This position reports to the Department Head of Computer Technology and is expected to function with a limited amount of supervision and be innovative in accomplishing tasks as prioritized by the Department Head/Dean/OIT.

General Responsibilities
In this challenging role, you will be supporting the CPT-Computer Technology department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following.
- Install, configure, and maintain B&T classroom and open lab computer equipment
- Provide technical support when needed in the computer classrooms and computer open labs
- Assist in the maintenance of the Division's computer equipment inventory
- Support and man the B&T Open Lab and classroom

Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a current GTC student enrolled in the Computer Technology program and must have completed first year program requirements as well as a student in good academic standing; or a recent graduate of the CPT program.
- Must have experience with Windows 10, Windows 8.x, Windows 7, Linux, other operating systems.
- Must have experience installing and maintaining PC software.
- Must have excellent technical skills and organizational ability.
- Must be knowledgeable of computer hardware equipment, peripherals, and common office computer hardware and software.
- Must have experience installing and maintaining PC hardware.
- Strong ability to analyze complex software and hardware problems and provide solution in a timely manner; and strong communication skills encompassing verbal, written, and computer formats are also desired.
- Be capable of performing unsupervised installation, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
- Strong interpersonal capabilities in providing assistant to faculty, staff, and students.
- Be able to lift 50 pounds
- Work outside of the normal work hours when required.
