What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Instructor for Psychology position at Greenville University?

Description

Greenville University is seeking adjunct instructors capable of teaching the following Psychology courses online. These courses are new and will need to be developed: Forensic Psychology, Sports Psychology, Positive Psychology, Crisis Counseling.


We also seek qualified instructors for a range of courses, including: Introduction to Psychology, Health Psychology, Developmental Psychology, History of Psychology, Abnormal, Personality, Social, Biological / Physiological, Experimental, Cultural, Counseling. The selected candidate is expected to perform instruction and other related duties in the Psychology program at Greenville University.


Requirements

Qualifications for Adjunct Instructor of Psychology:

  • Master's degree (required), or higher degree, in a field of Psychology, or equivalent education & experience
  • Teaching skills and practical experience in the related course material is expected
  • Must be well organized and able to present material using a variety of methods in the online environment
  • Be open to instruction and utilize best practices for online instruction
  • Possess excellent people skills
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Clearly understand and internalize the mission of Greenville University, and the value of Christian higher education

Regular Undergraduate Adjunct rate with class enrollment of 10 or more per credit hour is $1000. This rate is subject to change based on enrollment numbers for the course.
