Greenway Automotive - Inventory Accounting Clerk

Greenway Automotive is looking for a professional and organized Inventory Accounting Clerk.

Automotive and CDK experience preferred not mandatory! Pay range from $17-$21 based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Enter all new vehicles into the dealership's accounting system
• Enter purchased used cars into the dealership's accounting systems and issue checks for payment
• Entering all Dealer Trades and Intercompany vehicle transfers.
• Reconciles the physical inventory of vehicles to the dealership's book balances
• Bills out wholesale vehicle transactions and ensures all counter parties have a current resale tax certificate and dealer license on file
• Bills out dealer trades and ensures all counter parties have a current resale tax certificate and dealer license on file
• Reconciles PDI, holdback, advertising assistance, and floorplan assistance monthly
• Reconciles pack accounts monthly
• Communicate frequently via phone/email with sales management.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Business Administration or Finance highly preferred
• Automotive and CDK experience preferred not mandatory
• One year of experience in a business office environment with general accounting responsibilities
• Strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite
• Experienced with business applications and accounting software
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Able to deal with confidential information appropriately
• Strong data entry and management skills
• Strong attention to detail and interest in accuracy
• Highly professional and dependable
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
