ADMISSIONS DIRECTOR - Full-Time - Greenwood Care
Greenwood Care, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF) in Evanston, IL, seeks an Admissions Director. This is a Full-Time, Salaried Role, with Daytime Hours, Some Flexibility.

The Admissions Director will be responsible for marketing, admissions, and meeting with local Physicians, Social Workers and Case Managers.
Responsibilities of the Admissions Director:
- Maintain existing and establish new community relationships and maintain contact with various referral sources to increase census
- Visit multiple sites daily to screen potential consumers
- Must be able to travel throughout Chicago and suburbs
- Attend to all referrals promptly
- Provide presentations, speeches and public appearances as needed
- Recommend and implement initiatives to targeted audiences
- Develop and coordinate marketing strategy, census development and image enhancement
- Screen prospective consumers at both the acute and community settings
- Perform on-site clinical assessments to determine appropriateness of admission
- Work with consumers, families and professionals to process and ensure efficient admission

Requirements
of the Admissions Director:
- Experience as an Admissions Director preferred
- Degree in human services field preferred
- Working knowledge of the consumer referral process
- Experience in a long-term care environment, preferably psychiatric population
- Experience in Sales/Marketing and Admissions
- Must be personable, engaging and genuine
- Must be organized and have the ability to multi-task
- Excellent presentation and relationship-building skills
- Strong written and verbal skills required
- Must have own vehicle and be willing to travel throughout the Chicagoland area to hospitals and nursing facilities to screen potential consumers (travel expenses reimbursed)
