Frequency Analyst

To support the Industrial Engineering/Process Improvement Department by collecting, entering, and analyzing manufacturing job data. The goal is to facilitate reductions in safety hazards, waste, and production losses within the plant.

Essential Job Functions

• Safety Compliance
• Follow all plant safety rules and regulations.
• Safely operate around moving parts at production associates' operating speeds.
• Wear and maintain proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
• Data Collection and Analysis
• Collect and enter production data from manufacturing cost centers for calculating labor variances.
• Study and monitor production jobs, processes, and machinery to identify areas for improvement.
• Analyze and report data from job observations, focusing on root causes of quality issues, production losses, and waste.
• Operate relevant software tools, including:
• Jim White Loom Monitoring System
• AS400
• VM-Link
• VLabo
• Microsoft Excel
• Safety and Quality
• Identify and report observed safety hazards during job studies.
• Assist in identifying and addressing sources of production inefficiencies.
• Inventory and Audits
• Conduct inventory counts and package size audits.
• Analyze weaver production and incentive pay.

Required Equipment

• Office equipment: computers, fax machines, and copiers.
• Safety equipment: earplugs, safety goggles, dust masks, cut-resistant gloves, and utility knives.

Critical Skills and Expertise

• High attention to detail with expert knowledge of the weaver job role.
• Comprehensive understanding of all plant processes and direct labor roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Non-Essential Functions

• Provide additional support to the Industrial Engineering Department as needed.
• Perform tasks as assigned by the Resource Manager.
