Qualifications:
- Knowledge of all aspects of landscape maintenance and repair
- Ability to operate and perform minor upkeep on medium to large sized landscape and grounds
- Operate and maintain lawn aerator, mowing equipment, lawn and garden tractor, push mower, string
- trimmer, pump up sprayer, snowblower, salt spreader, and a variety of other related equipment.
- Knowledge of grounds care including routine maintenance, mowing, trimming, edging, tree and shrub pruning,planting, bed care, irrigation
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, repair and operation
- Ability to work with or without supervision, follow directions, and follow work assignments, schedules and procedures
- Available for snow removal at all hours of the day or night, weekdays, weekends and holidays
- Interact and communicate with staff, students, coworkers and the public in a professional, respectful, courteous and positive manner
