Job Description:
The Diagnostic Automotive Technician is responsible for effectively diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles while adhering to MAP guidelines and manufacturer standards.
- Diagnose and repair customer vehicles efficiently
- Adhere to MAP guidelines and manufacturer standards
- Perform work as outlined on the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order with efficiency and accuracy
- Explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals
- Recommend services necessary to keep customers' vehicles in running condition
- Minimum of 5 years of automotive technician/mechanic experience
- Ability to demonstrate proper use of computerized equipment for diagnostics
- High School Diploma or equivalent
The Diagnostic Automotive Technician will be exposed to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, vapors, caustic materials, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
The successful candidate must be able to meet the following physical requirements:
- Stand five hours per day and walk to gain access to various areas of the building
