Senior Solutions Architect

Overview

Greyson Technologies is seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to join our high-performing technical team. As a trusted advisor to our commercial and enterprise customers, you’ll provide technical leadership in designing secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions across multiple technology domains. Your role will directly support sales cycles, solution development, and customer success across South Florida.

This is a mid-career to senior role, ideal for someone with hands-on experience in multiple architecture domains and a strong, passionate presence in front of customers. You’ll work closely with Account Executives, OEM partners (Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Pure Storage, Webex, Zoom, Netskope, BigID, Abnormal, and Arctic Wolf, others), and internal delivery teams to translate business outcomes into technical solutions that drive value.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Greyson Sales Team to identify, qualify, and architect solutions for customer opportunities.
• Lead technical discovery sessions, whiteboard and design sessions, and solution briefings.
• Produce high-quality designs, BOMs, diagrams, and SOW inputs that align with customer requirements and OEM best practices.
• Present solutions to IT leaders, architects, and decision makers with credibility and clarity.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with customers to provide strategic guidance and ensure customer satisfaction after the sale.
• Collaborate with internal architects, project managers, and delivery engineers to ensure successful handoff and delivery.
• Stay current with industry trends and maintain strong technical knowledge of relevant OEM solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in a pre-sales, systems engineering, or consulting role at a VAR, MSP, or systems integrator.
• Proven experience working with commercial and enterprise accounts in a customer-facing capacity.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience leading presentations and technical discussions.
• Demonstrated expertise in at least two of the following domains:
• Enterprise Networking (SD-WAN, Switching, Wireless, DNA Center, Meraki)
• Cybersecurity (NGFW, SASE, XDR, Zero Trust, Hybrid Mesh Firewall, Data Loss Prevention, Palo Alto Prisma/Strata)
• Collaboration (Webex Calling/Contact Center, Zoom Phone/Contact Center, Room Systems, UCC architecture, generative-AI, dialogflow)
• Hybrid Cloud (Data Center Networking, VXLAN, Storage, Virtualization, Cloud Connectivity)
• Must hold Professional or Expert-level certifications from key OEMs (e.g., Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Palo Alto PCNSE/PSE, AWS Solutions Architect, etc.).
• Deep understanding of Cisco and Palo Alto Networks solutions and architectures.
• Local to South Florida with the ability to travel regularly to customer sites (primarily Broward, Miami-Dade, and occasionally Lee, Palm Beach, and Orange Counties).

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with SLED, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Retail, or Financial verticals in the Florida commercial & enterprise size customers is a plus.
• Experience with PSA tools like Mavenlink/Katana and CRM platforms like Salesforce.
• Professional-to-expert certifications (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto, Meraki, Zoom, Pure Storage, Microsoft Azure) are highly desirable.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead cross-functional technical pursuits.
