IT Analyst

General Description / Objective

The IT Analyst is responsible aiding the department in installation and maintenance of computer hardware and software programs. Also, performing a variety if moderately complex information technology support

Ensures compliance with company, state, and federal policies and regulations. Works with the Management Team on various other project\s and assignments to improve the overall operational effectiveness and efficiencies within the organization.

Roles and Tasks

· Full end user technical support Level 1

· Manage Helpdesk calls

· Monitor and troubleshoot system errors

· Monitor security and access system

· Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.)

· Check computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards etc.) ...

· Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications.

· Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance.

· Perform regular maintenance.

· Other duties or tasks as assigned.

Profile / Professional Competencies / Job Requirements

· High school diploma, or general education degree (GED) and 2 years previous IT related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Associate’s/ Bachelor’s degree with Computer Science/ Technology concentration, preferred.

Specific Knowledge:

· Experience with troubleshooting all type of hardware like computer, mobile devices, video conference and printers etc.

· Excellent people skills with the ability to influence and a willingness to work in a team environment.

· Ability to communicate within various levels in the organization.

· Ability to work in a high-volume environment and meet deadlines.

Languages:

• Fluent English

• Spanish Optional

IT / Technical Knowledge:

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

· Proficiency with Office 365

· SharePoint

· Microsoft Server

Minimum Experience Required:

· Minimum 2 years of working experience in IT

· Internal Candidates and/or Employees from other GRI factories, are considered competent for this job if they have at least 1-2 year of experience on similar processes/positions.

Physical and Safety Requirements

The ability to lift 20/40/80 pounds regularly

The ability to move, climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, push, pull, lift, grasp and walk around the manufacturing facility without restrictions

The ability to stand upright on feet, particularly for sustained periods of time.

The ability to respond quickly to sounds

The ability to move safely over uneven surfaces or in confined spaces

The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations

The ability to work in extreme weather and wear all required personal protective gear correctly all day

The ability to withstand noise and dust in manufacturing plant and warehouse environment.
