We are currently seeking an Automotive Custom Upholstery Technician. Proficiency in other areas of classic and custom car repair/restoration will also be considered. We are seeking a versatile, and ambitious upholstery technician. This position involves working on some of the most exclusive and amazing automobiles in the world, and would be a dream job for most car enthusiasts.
----QUALIFICATIONS----
- Must possess own hand tools
- Must be proficient with your time and always willing to learn new "tricks of the trade"
- Prior experience working on classic cars is preferred, but not required
- A passion for the art of automotive restoration and customization is a must
----DUTIES----
- Clean design and sewing for high level vehicles
- Ability to design, layout, shape and cut custom upholstery panels
- Remove and install replacement interior panels
- Be able to assess and clearly document needs of vehicle
- Clearly communicate needs to project manager
- Maintain an organized and acceptable work area
