What are the responsibilities and job description for the OR Surgical Assist, 2:00pm to 7:00pm, 25 hours position at Griffin Health Brand?
Performs the primary function of assisting with patient care in the perioperative setting, including but not limited to: transportation of patients, safe cleanup of surgical suite, stocking and inventory
of supplies, preparation of instruments for sterilization, and daily documentation and monitoring of sterilizers.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Must be knowledgeable in patient care, sterile technique, and Universal Precautions.
He or she must have a caring attitude toward their patients, and be able to switch job assignments very quickly.
