Experienced Tax Preparer – Part-time (25 hours per week)
In search of individual with the following:
- Three to five years with hands on experience in preparing individual tax returns, as well as corporate returns
- Experience in personal property tax preparation
- Bookkeeping knowledge, college accounting major students will also be considered on an intern basis
- Experience in compiling/organizing and general familiarity with documentation required to prepare complex tax returns
- Experience in preparing journal entries
- Must have strong knowledge of individual and business tax laws
- Strong understanding of financials, reconciliations and accounting
- Recent retirees and college accounting students are welcome
Required Skills:
- “Actual” tax preparing experience
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize
- Experience with reviewing prior preparer work
- Ability to work with and communicate effectively with all levels of staff as well as high ethical standards and integrity
- Is very reliable and dependable and will go the extra mile when needed
- Actively pursues learning and self-development to enhance personal and professional growth and licensing requirements
- Enjoys the challenge of a learning curve but knows when to ask for help
- Positive mindset and is a team player

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
