Trucking Dispatcher of Alburtis, PA Location
Reports to: Terminal Manager
Department: Operations
FLSA Status: Exempt
Responsibilities include but are not limited too;
- Planning, scheduling, and supervising the work of drivers;
- Completion of all required paperwork and data entry to accurately account for all trips and pay factors;
- Work constructively with drivers, customers and outside services to address any performance issues as they arise;
- Clearly communicate all details of the shift to all necessary departments ensuring that all pending issues continue to be resolved
- Liaison to customer for any questions, concerns or actions during the shift
- Maintaining the work environment and culture of the terminal at a high level of professionalism;
- Adhere to and ensure compliance with all company policies and DOT regulations;
- Support management efforts to satisfy customer needs; and
- Other duties as assigned.
Credentials
· 2 years’ experience in dispatching truck drivers
· Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively
· Transportation experience a plus
· Microsoft knowledge skills
· Flexibility with working weekends/nights
· Strong work ethic, professionalism and dedication is a MUST
- Must Have Permanent Work Authorization in the United States
