Lab Assistant
Gromelski and Associates, Inc. (GAI) partners with prime contractors to provide professional services. Key service areas include Engineering Design and Documentation; Software Development and Testing; System Integration, Testing and Evaluation; Lab Management and Field Installation; Integrated Logistics Support, Training Development and Delivery, Multimedia Support, and Technical System Support.
Lab Assistant Job Description:
Performs a broad range of lab support activities as assigned by project leads and the Lab Manager. The person in this position must maintain effective customer communications and relations.
The basic duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
- Movement of hardware and equipment within the lab area.
- Tracking company and government assets (scanning company assets).
- Running various cables.
- Assist in the standing up and testing of systems in the lab (rack stacking hardware).
Lab Assistant Required Skills:
- Must be a reliable, disciplined, and a self-starter able to work with supervision.
- Possess excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to lift items up to 50 pounds.
- Candidates must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance.
