Automotive Technician

Grote Automotive is seeking experienced Automotive Service Technicians to join our Fort Wayne Service Team! Qualified candidates would have experience with preventative maintenance on a variety of makes and models of vehicles, electrical and warranty work. We are seeking candidates who demonstrate an eagerness to learn and a strong sense of urgency with completing services in a timely manner. The ideal candidate would be honest, patient and adaptive to changes as they come in the service bay.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Preventative maintenance
• Diagnostics
• Limited heavy lines
• Tune-ups
• Brakes
• Heat and A/C
• Suspensions
• Warranty work
• Electrical
• All other duties as needed

• Diagnostic ability- are able to troubleshoot and diagnose automotive issues on a variety of makes and models.
• Ability to be a self starter- takes initiative to start tasks, collaborate with other team members and find solutions to diagnostic problems.
• Communication- brings comments and concerns to the Service team to find solutions.
• Team player- able to work well with others while working independently as needed. Grote Automotive hosts a welcoming, team player environment in all departments.
• Valid Driver’s License
