Role Description
GroundSmith is looking to hire an Office Manager. This role works with the owner and management team in supporting our Landscape, Lawn Care, and Irrigation company.
The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent communication skills, proven experience in Microsoft software including Microsoft Excel, administrative duties, and be detailed oriented. Working well as part of a team is essential.
We are looking for someone with a strong sense of ownership, accountability and pride in their work. They must be able to problem solve and improvise when necessary. Curiosity and willingness to learn are great attributes to bring to this position.
This position requires someone who works well with multiple deadline driven responsibilities, ability to multitask and communicate effectively on workload and changing priorities. Accuracy and attention to detail are a must.

- Act as the first point of contact, providing exceptional service to clients and team members.
- Contribute to the organization's success by keeping information organized and accessible
- Purchase Orders & Accounts Payable
- Enter and manage daily payroll
- Communicate with customers, Operations Manager and supervisors
- Collecting and analyzing data using Microsoft Excel
- Utilize office software and tools to streamline tasks and boost efficiency.
- Prepare and Create invoices using internal systems
- Accounts Receivable as needed
- Other office duties as assigned
Requirements & Qualifications
- 3 years experience in administrative work or office management
- Must be detail-oriented and exhibit proficiency in MS Excel and Word
- Demonstrate superior communication, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Must be extremely versatile and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to occasionally work overtime
- Bilingual in Spanish and prior landscape experience is a plus but not a requirement
