Position Purpose

We're searching for a motivated and results-oriented Sales Representative to become an integral part of our dynamic sales team. Your key responsibilities will include proactively identifying and engaging potential clients and brokers. You'll specialize in highlighting the advantages of our commercial health plans, with a strong emphasis on promoting our Medicare Advantage offerings to Medicare beneficiaries and Medicare-certified brokers. Your ultimate objective? To not only close deals but also increase our Medicare membership and expand our Medicare broker network.

Essential Position Functions
  • Responsible for conducting all phases of selling, including identifying, qualifying, and meeting with prospective clients.
  • Responsible for generating leads, developing and maintaining positive relationships with referral sources, including, but not limited to, community organizations, health and wellness organizations, senior advocacy and support groups, senior housing developments, social service agencies, financial planners and groups.
  • Deliver sales presentations to prospects one-on-one or in group settings according to regulated marketing guidelines.
  • Responsible for qualifying and signing Medicare beneficiaries per CMS regulations.
  • Responsible for completing and submitting enrollment forms for closed sales.
  • Build and maintain the Medicare broker network.
  • Monitor and conduct ongoing research on market trends, conditions, and competitive landscape.
  • Develop and execute tactical sales plans designed to capture market share, new business appointments, and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless coordination and effective communication of member group activities.
  • Prepare and represent the company at tradeshows, networking and social activities, and promotional events.
  • Manage sales/marketing collateral and supporting tools.
Minimum Requirements of the Position
  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, or a related discipline.
  • 2 years of marketing, sales, or community relations experience.
  • Hold a current State of Wisconsin Accident & Health Insurance License.
  • Current AHIP/Medicare Certified or obtain it within 30 days of starting the position.
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license and own a vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided).
  • Excellent presentation, written, and oral communication skills, including public speaking.
  • Must be independent, confident, and sensitive to the needs of Medicare-eligible populations.
