Company Description

Grove Partners is a strategy and public affairs firm focused on high-stakes reputational crises, public-facing infrastructure approvals, client strategy and other unique challenges. This role is for someone who can commit 10-15 hours a week.


Role Description

This is a fall-semester internship role at Grove Partners in Boston, MA, with flexibility for remote work. As the Public Policy Intern, you will be involved in day-to-day tasks, supporting entrepreneurs and organizations by providing strategic planning and project execution.


Qualifications

  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Pursuing a degree in political science, public policy, communications, or another relevant field.


Responsibilities

Supporting client teams with a variety of tasks including: 

  • Conducting research on a diverse set of policy issues. 
  • Creating press lists of reporters, editors, producers and/or bookers.
  • Note-taking during internal and client facing meetings. 
  • General media monitoring and crisis response support. 
  • Occasional writing opportunities such as drafting press releases, social media and pitches. 
  • Special projects.
