Role Description
This is a fall-semester internship role at Grove Partners in Boston, MA, with flexibility for remote work. As the Public Policy Intern, you will be involved in day-to-day tasks, supporting entrepreneurs and organizations by providing strategic planning and project execution.
Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Pursuing a degree in political science, public policy, communications, or another relevant field.
Responsibilities
Supporting client teams with a variety of tasks including:
- Conducting research on a diverse set of policy issues.
- Creating press lists of reporters, editors, producers and/or bookers.
- Note-taking during internal and client facing meetings.
- General media monitoring and crisis response support.
- Occasional writing opportunities such as drafting press releases, social media and pitches.
- Special projects.
