Clinician/Psychotherapist
Grove school is seeking full-time and part-time Licensed (or licensed eligible) Clinicians (LCSW, LPC, PhD, PsyD or LMFT) to work in a residential therapeutic milieu. This clinical position involves facilitating individual psychotherapy, family therapy and group therapy in a co-ed therapeutic boarding school on the CT shoreline. Clinicians/psychotherapists work as part of a clinical team, including a case manager, therapist/clinician, and psychiatrist and/or APRN. An investment in collaborative clinical work is a crucial aspect of this role.
The ideal candidate will be licensed or licensed eligible in CT and have experience working with adolescents and families. Candidates should be versed in Systems Theory as it relates to adolescent treatment and the collaboration with all the crucial systems in an adolescent’s life in order to facilitate healthy development and change. Background and training in DBT, CBT, and EMDR and is preferred. Candidates should have experience working with children and adolescents living with anxiety, depression, ADHD, executive functioning, spectrum diagnoses, trauma, and attachment issues.
Available position can be either Part-Time or Full Time. Salary negotiable.
