AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNICIAN
As a Nissan Automotive Service Technician you’re focusing on the importance Grubbs Nissan places on quickly and timely servicing and/or repair of vehicles assigned to them by the service management team. Your vital role is to exceed our customers’ expectations in the serving of their vehicle. Your excellence in quality workmanship, Customer Satisfaction/NSSI and customer retention are primary responsibilities. We are seeking Level II Automotive Service Technicians with the desire and ability to train and grow with Nissan Automotive training. We grow our Team Members!
- Properly complete the automotive service and/or repairs for which you are qualified and trained as assigned by management.
- Complete all automotive services according to the applicable safety requirements and published procedures.
- Ensure your service advisor is informed of additional services that need completion using the MPI Service Diagnosis. As always, anything we do should be done with the highest degree of integrity.
- Maintain an inventory of normal mechanical tool’s.
- Properly use Multi Point Inspections on every customer’s vehicle.
- Participate in and utilize to the best of one’s abilities technical training as assigned by management.
- Produce quality work that evidences pride of workmanship.
- Maintain the work space assigned in an organized and cleanly manner.
- Ensure that customer’s vehicles are returned to them Cleaner they were prior to being serviced.
- Maintain personal grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards according to departmental policy.
- Arrive at work, take breaks, and depart work at the times designed by management.
- Show common courtesy to all customers and dealership personnel.
- Make every effort to achieve the production objectives set by management.
- Review the technical bulletins and other publications as assigned by management.
- Provide the administrative assistance necessary to complete warranty repair orders and other tasks assigned by management.
- Use shop supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner.
- Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel as required to satisfy customer needs.
- Report to management any situation or condition that would jeopardize the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its customers, or employees.
