Groff Tractor & Equipment, LLC. a leading construction equipment dealership in Pennsylvania is looking for an individual to immediately fill the full-time position of Field Service Technician Paving & Material Processing Specialist.
Previous experience in the heavy construction equipment industry specifically milling, paving, or crushing is preferred. Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to: proper diagnosis and repair of heavy equipment in the field, setting up machines for operation, training customers on proper operation and maintenance, general time and record keeping, etc. This position is safety sensitive.
Requirements for this position are:
- Above average computer skills. Experience in CAT ET, Cummins Insite, Case EST, etc. preferred.
- Ability to read and understand complex schematics
- Experience in electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting
- Have an extensive collection of own tools including but not limited to: large wrenches and sockets (up to 2), Multimeter, metric hand tools, etc.
- Experience in welding and fabrication (preferred)
- Highly motivated & organized
- Ability to multi-task
- Good customer relation & communication skills
- Background in the asphalt milling, paving, or crushing industry (preferred)
- Ability to operate independently
- Qualifying DMV record and valid drivers license
