What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mortuary Transporter position at GT Trade, LLC?
REQUIRED: Must live within 25 minutes of 45214, Must be able to move 150 pounds unassisted, Must have clean driving record
-Starting pay of $18/hour. $40 per removal after hours, 5PM-9AM
- Prior experience in the mortuary industry are preferred, but not required. We offer paid training
- Timeliness and punctuality are high priority, we pride ourselves on response time
- Must be able to move, lift and carry 150 lbs without assistance
- Clean driving record (required)
- Must be able to pass background check
- Must be able to present yourself professionally and be comfortable speaking with grieving families
- Respond to dispatched death calls within 45-60 minutes at hospitals/nursing facilities/residences and transporting them to their respective destinations (i.e. funeral home, GT Trade LLC location or the coroner's office.)
- Delivery of embalmed remains and cremated remains to funeral homes.
