What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Trainer position at GTECH Corporation?
Provide live and virtual technical training to dealership technicians in the areas of diagnosis, service, and maintenance of all automotive systems on vehicles
Requirements
WHAT YOU NEED
- Technical knowledge of automotive components and systems
- Demonstrated ability to work skillfully with highly technical diagnostic equipment, including : Scan Tools, Lab Scopes, DVOMs, Air Conditioning Recycling Equipment, Vibration Diagnostic Equipment, etc.
- Ability to interact effectively with various personality types
- Strong communication skills - written and verbal
- Ability to complete tasks with minimal direction, including self-guided study, to stay current with technology
- Familiarity and ease with office automation programs (Power Point, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Must have excellent time management and organizational skills
- Experience with Zoom, Adobe Connect, YouTube or other online content presentation platforms is preferred, but not required
- A degree is preferred but if you've got good experience, we'll take that, too
- Minimum of two years' experience as a technician
- Experience teaching automotive preferred
- Willingness to travel, as needed (up to 30%)
