Lead Front-End Engineer

Location: Hybrid – Dallas, TX

Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Compensation: $170,000–$200,000 base bonus

We’re seeking a hands-on Lead Front-End Engineer to architect, build, and scale high-performance, cloud-native systems supporting critical business platforms. This is a hybrid role based in Dallas, TX, offering the opportunity to lead advanced serverless initiatives and mentor engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of scalable, maintainable front-end architectures using modern frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) and tooling.
• Design and implement secure, high-performance serverless applications using AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and CloudFront.
• Drive infrastructure-as-code using tools like AWS CDK and Serverless Stack (SST).
• Develop real-time data solutions with DynamoDB Streams, OpenSearch, and Redshift.
• Optimize workflows with orchestration tools and implement event-driven architectures using EventBridge.
• Define and enforce software engineering standards through testing, code reviews, and CI/CD (GitHub Actions).
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with product goals.

Required Qualifications

• 7 years in software engineering, with 3 in a senior or lead role.
• Deep experience with React (all versions), Tailwind CSS, TypeScript, and component libraries like shadcn/ui.
• Strong background in serverless and cloud-native development using AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudFront, Step Functions, etc.).
• Expertise in designing and scaling SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and influence architectural direction.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SST, AWS CDK, and Git-based CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Sentry, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK).
• Contributions to open-source projects or technical publications.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
