Job Overviews
A Home Health Aide (HHA) is a trained and certified health care worker who helps sick, elderly or disabled people live independently at home, by assisting with daily living.
HHAs help with comfort, health and safety in the patient’s homes.
Home health aids help with personal care and home management. They may assist with shopping or taking patients to doctor’s appointments.
Homemakers assist patients with cooking and cleaning. They maintain a healthy home for patients.
