Guardian Healthcare is a certified nursing agency. Our Family Caregivers division which focuses on long term services & support (LTSS) through its Adult Family Care (AFC) and Group Adult Family Care (GAFC) programs has an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager in the Boston area.
Overview:
The Program Manager will coordinate and provide high-quality administrative support to the Assistant Program Director and maintain an operating environment that assures effective, efficient and safe operations to meet required performance standards.

Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Director of Operations the Program Manager will have the overall responsibility for managing the non-clinical services area. Maintain an operating environment in the non-clinical services department that assures effective, efficient, and safe operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accomplishes department objectives by managing staff, planning and evaluating department activities.
- Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, and training employees, as part of the management team.
- Maintains and oversees the processes to conduct orientation of new HHA and Homemakers.
- Makes performance expectations clear to employees and helping them where possible to achieve these expectations.
- Coaches, counsels, and develops personal growth opportunities.
- Oversees department employees, providing guidance and performing performance appraisals and reviewing their work as appropriate.
- Establishes and maintains a positive working relationship with coordinators, HHAs and clients.
- Responds to complaints received from clients and ASAPs and file DPH reports if required.
- Ensures the department tracks client and HHA due dates to ensure proper service delivery.
- Assists billing department in resolving the monthly billing errors.
- Responsible for daily monitoring of Work Queue in Service delivery Manager a.k. Provider Direct and the update of HHAeXchange accordingly.
- Ensures that all documents, such as Plans of Care (POC), Supervisory visits and timesheets are uploaded timely in each patient’s profile.
- Responsible for tracking of past due documentation from nurses and aides like POCs, Supervisory visits and timesheets.
- Generates monthly reports as assigned by the Director of Operations, and address accordingly with the coordinators.
- Direct and clear communication with coordinators and HHAs to ensure teamwork and facilitate an effective and efficient work process.
- Oversee processes that track new clients and send a weekly update to Quality Assurance (QA).
- Manage and maintain processes for file incident, warning, and PR reports as needed
- Assist the Director of Operations with daily tasks, as required.
- Maintain compliance with the ASAP regulations and requirements.
- Ensures accuracy of the hours and visits prior to the payroll closing deadline.
- Performs other duties, including special projects, as assigned by the Director of Operations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
