Guardian Plumbing and Heating is seeking a friendly and professional receptionist to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
- Manage accounts payable email account.
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing.
- Keep the front entrance tidy, kitchen clean, and the vending machine stocked.
- Purchase office supplies.
- Assist with special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a receptionist or similar role.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail, including proofreading skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Additionally, knowledge of computer programs, telephone systems, and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software are valuable technical skills for this position.
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
