Surgical Instrument Processing Technicians:
The Veterinary Surgical Pack and Prep assistant is the go-to person for maintaining the cleanliness of the surgical department and will keep the day flowing by ensuring the area is stocked, clean and tools are prepared and available for the day. As assistants you will learn all there is to know about surgical instruments, sterilization, nomenclature, aseptic technique, patient prep, OR set up, anesthetic machine maintenance, and more
As with any set of guidelines, they are constructed with the optimal situations in mind. Job Expectations:

- Proper training on the sweeping and mopping protocols to be completed in the Surgery Prep area, Pack and Prep, Surgery Office, and nearby hallway by the procedure board once daily.
- Cleaning and wiping down all surfaces, counter surfaces, computers, keyboards, and phones.
