Position Summary
The Junior Business Analyst – Strategic Initiatives Operations supports the delivery of the firm’s largest strategic initiatives by translating defined business needs into clear, structured requirements and assisting with the implementation of solutions. This role focuses on documenting business requirements, translating business requirements into technical requirements, supporting project management and coordination planning, assisting the business in finalizing testing and completion of deliverables, and helping track firm adoption through related KPIs/KRIs. Working closely with the Head of Strategic Initiatives, the Strategic Initiatives PMO, and stakeholders across the firm—including Operations, Front-, Middle-, Back-Office, Product Management, Compliance, and Data & Application Solutions—the Junior Business Analyst acts as a practical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to help ensure solutions are delivered and adopted as intended. This position is located in our Stamford, CT office, full-time.

Salary Range
Annual base salary between
$100,000.00-$110,000.00
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Document clear, structured business requirements, user stories, and supporting materials for strategic initiatives
- Assist in translating business needs and reporting requirements into specifications for technical teams
- Support project planning, scheduling, and coordination activities led by various business units and Strategic Initiatives Operations
- Track progress of assigned tasks, action items, and deliverables, escalating issues when needed
- Help prepare materials and summaries for project meetings and executive updates
- Assist business stakeholders in finalizing testing activities, including confirming requirements have been met
- Help track completion of project deliverables and ensure documentation is up to date
- Support measurement and tracking of adoption, KPIs, and KRIs related to strategic initiatives
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with Operations, Front-,Middle, Back- Office, Compliance, and Data & Application Solutions
- Participate in cross-functional working sessions and capture decisions, issues, and follow-ups
- Provide general project support to the Head of Strategic Initiatives and PMO on large initiatives and special projects
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in math, finance, economics, or related analytical field
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements
- Experience and exposure in AI tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills and building data sets
- Knowledge and experience in Asset Management, Private Equity, or related field
- Ability to simplify complex ideas
- Advanced degree
