GuidePoint Security's Cloud Security Team is looking to add a senior-level cloud security leader withexperience in solving enterprise multi-cloud security challenges. Cloud Security Leaders on our team help solve architectural and engineering problems for our largest clients. We're looking for a cloudsecurity architect that is looking for an opportunity to maintain hands-on experience across AWS, Azure,and GCP. This role will specialize in our AWS services, knowledge in Azure or GCP is preferred.
Position Requirements:
- Conduct in-depth security assessments and audits of AWS environments, identify risks, and provide prioritized roadmaps to improve posture and security-related processes
- Provide architectural guidance for clients building and/or migrating to AWS
- Produce professional deliverables and present findings, recommendations, and project plans to client's senior leadership
- Strong understanding of technical controls for compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCI, CSA CCM, more as applicable) as they relate to AWS
- Hands-on experience, capable of creating proof-of-concepts in AWS (primary), Azure, and GCP
- Ensure knowledge of AWS and industry best practices remains current. Stay abreast of AWS service announcements and changes to service functionality and security configurations
- When not working on client projects, assist the AWS cloud security practice in improving service offerings
Preferred Requirements:
- AWS knowledge must include networking, data security, identity and access management, and automation, and extensive familiarity with Amazon's cloud-native security tooling services
- Understanding of CNAPP, CSPM, CIEM, and CWPP tooling, and how they supplement and/or replace cloud-native solutions
- Development knowledge or experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK
- Experience developing Lambda functions (Python preferred)
- Experience working with enterprise-level systems in order to design cloud equivalent enterprise-grade solutions
- Security related certifications highly preferred
