Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians provide care to meet or exceed American College of Emergency Physicians Standards (Evidence-Based Clinical Guidelines) outside of the traditional hospital-based ER environment. The hyper-efficient delivery of Emergency Medicine Specialty Services combined with outpatient facility efficiently provides high quality care that can yield lower ER visits, lower hospital admissions and create savings.

Responsibilities:
- Proficiently operate lab analyzers
- Produce quality lab results ensuring to address any QC errors or equipment malfunctions per protocol
- Prepare specimens for transport to reference labs
- Successfully pass lab specific competencies
- Function in a manner that supports the facility in meeting or exceeding goals set forth in the quality metrics (Door to EKG, Troponin TAT, Door to Antibiotic, Etc.)
- Support the Facility Leader (FL) and Lab Supervisor/Lead Tech by being a positive team player.
- Completion of daily checklists
Requirements
- Must be able to successfully pass a background and drug test
- Great communication skills (including the ability to proficiently read, write and speak English)
- Minimum of an Associate's degree in laboratory science, medical laboratory technology, or equivalent education and training.
- Minimum of three years of experience working as a generalist technologist or technician
- Must hold an active Florida Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician license with one of the following certifications: ASCP, AMT, AAB
