Deli Associate

GREAT BARRINGTON LOCATION ONLY

Guido’s is looking to hire a new member to join our Great Barrington Deli team. If you love helping customers and find joy in a perfectly stacked sandwich, we’d love to hear from you!

Shifts: This is a part-time position. One weekend day availability is a must. Shift times are a mix of 10am-6pm or 11am-7pm

Pay Range Up to $18.00/hr, commensurate with experience

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain and rotate inventory in our deli case
• Prepare, weigh, and slice stock for customer orders
• Use a meat and cheese slicer
• Prepare sandwich and burrito orders
• Package items for the grab & go case
• Provide excellent over-the-counter communication and customer service
• Maintain clean and safe conditions and supplies for the department

Requirements:

• Ability to follow instructions and procedures
• Effective time management skills
• Strong work ethic and integrity
• Be upright and moving for long periods of time
• Must be able to lower oneself to grasp objects
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Moderate level English speaking and reading is required, as a candidate must have the ability communicate with customers directly when receiving and preparing Deli orders in person

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
