As a Repair Tech (Guitar) at Guitar Center, you will provide top-notch maintenance and repair services on customer-owned instruments and assist in maintaining store inventory.
You will continually build and increase business through excellent customer experience and quality work.
The key characteristics of successful Repair Technicians include:
- Customer Focus: Providing an exceptional customer experience, connecting with customers in a meaningful way, and being approachable, genuine, knowledgeable, encouraging, passionate, and committed to helping customers.
- Initiative: Identifying opportunities and issues, following through on work activities, learning quickly, and taking positive action without being requested to do so.
- Selling: Working through GC certification program to gain a base understanding of products and sales techniques.
- Training: Effectively training learners and communicating information and techniques so that they are retained.
As a Repair Technician, you will:
- Interact with customers to ensure a positive experience
- Service customer-owned instruments with high craftsmanship
- Maintain store-owned gear as requested
- Complete warranty repair work
- Perform additional duties as assigned
