Job Overview:
The clinical director position at Gulf Coast Integrative Health is key to the philosophy and growth of our company and the outcomes of the clients we serve. As a clinical director, you will play an important role in the integrated team and will ensure the behavioral health providers you oversee can provide the best possible to care to our client. In addition to director duties, you will lead by example in providing excellent client care.
GCIH is an integrated health clinic treating a general outpatient population including a broad range of ages, cultural backgrounds and illnesses. GCIH provides both mental health and substance abuse treatment as well as a focus on preventative care, education, life coaching, relationship counseling and referrals. Treatment settings may include:
- Individuals
- Couples
- Families
- Groups
Minimum requirements:
- A masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family, or other licensable mental health degrees
- Must be either an LCSW or LPCS license.
- Extensive knowledge of mental health conditions and best practices for psychological treatment
- Well-developed listening and interview skills to explore patient needs and administer treatment plans
- Strong oral communication skills to counsel and advise patients
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to develop effective treatment plans
- Coaching skills to help patients make positive changes
- Organization skills to maintain up-to-date, easy-to-navigate patient files
- Familiarity with privacy, health and safety laws
- Computer skills to operate record keeping, scheduling, email and word processing software
