WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Clinical Support Coordinator is a non-exempt position responsible for serving as a liaison with behavioral health partners and providers, the managing entity, and the criminal justice system for clients with a mental health diagnosis transitioning through community residential treatment.?
- Review referrals, screen potential clients, and complete dispositions.
- Maintain communication with community case managers, advocate for client needs, assist in linkage with needed services/resources and assist in coordinating discharge transition.
- Liaise between the mental health system and legal system for clients with forensic involvement, including those who have been adjudicated Incompetent to Proceed (ITP) or Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity (NGI) under Chapter 916, Florida Statute.
- Maintain a calendar of all scheduled court hearings, competency restoration classes in addition to contact information for pre-trial/probation officers, judicial assistants, and case managers.
- Attend all scheduled hearings (in person and/or online), represent the Adult Residential Treatment and Stabilization (ARTS) Program and provide testimony when required.
- Provide technical support to clients, case managers and treatment staff as needed when attending hearings online.
- Complete status reports for court hearings and follow-up progress reports to the court.
- Participate in treatment team meetings and case staffings with managing entity.
- Transport consumers in Agency vehicle.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Bachelors degree in social work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or related human service field.
- One (1) year experience with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI), co-occurring disorders, and or forensic adults highly preferable.
- Experience in mental health treatment, particularly related to justice-involved populations.
- Working knowledge of community organizations and resources.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must obtain/maintain CPR/First Aid Certification.
- Must have a valid drivers' license and proof auto insurance coverage.
