What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rigger Department Helper - Entry Level position at Gulf Marine Repair?
Gulf Marine Repair is currently looking for a Rigger Helper. This is an entry level position that will begin preparing you towards becoming a Rigger.
As a Rigger Helper, you will assist Riggers with preparing materials before loading, setting up the rigging equipment. Learning how to operate heavy equipment machinery and assisting in dismantling rigging after the job. You will learn to use proper signals or verbally direct workers engaged in hosting and moving loads to ensure safety of workers and materials.
Flexible schedule including working weekends and overtime when required.
Some experience working in a marine or shipyard environment or heavy industrial / construction a plus but not required.
