What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper position at Gulph Creek Hotels?
The Residence Inn by Marriott in Middletown is seeking Housekeepers for our hotel located on Tower Drive.
The Housekeeper job duties and requirements include but are not limited to the following:
- Weekends are required
- Holidays are required
- Starting time is 8am Monday-Friday
- Starting time is 9am Saturday and Sunday
Room Duties include:
• Clean guest rooms according to standards
• Vacuum carpet in rooms and hallways, clean floors
• Clean, dust and polish furniture
• Clean Kitchenettes and wash dishes in Suite
• Make beds, change bed linens
• Remove and replace used towels and amenities
• Cleans bathrooms
• Maintains linen cart and supplies
• Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests
• Respond to guest requests and inquiries
• Other housekeeping duties as assigned
You must have the ability to pull and push work-related equipment such as a loaded housekeeping cart, the ability to bend, twist, stoop, and pull. The ability to sit, stand, walk, or kneel for a long period of time and the ability to manipulate, turn, and grasp objects of different sizes and weights.
