Schedule Weekly Hours:
40Our laundry services department is looking for hard-working and motivated individuals who are interested in helping deliver love medicine through clean linens in our hospital as a Linen Assistant!
What you will do:
1.0 FTE - Fulltime
Shift: Monday-Friday and every other Saturday
Hours: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Will handle and sort hospitals linens to provide to our staff and patients

Under the Supervision of the laundry supervisor, the linen assistant will process clean linens using folding and ironing machinery and fold and sort various linens.
Major Responsibilities:
1. Feed linens through appropriate linen folding equipment.
2. Hand folds and sorts various linens.
3. Remove folded linen from conveyor and place on appropriate exchange carts.
4. Prepare scrub uniform exchange carts according to specified quotas.
5. Answer telephone and take linen orders.
6. Sort clean surgery linens.
7. Turn sleeves and lay out surgeon's gowns.
8. Performs other job-related duties as directed.
