Position Summary:

Although this is the standard schedule there may be times when the shift needs to be changed around. Please send us an email for more details about the position. This position is primarily for our floater technician position. You will be assisting with completing compound medication orders and ensuring that the products are released in a timely manner which consists of typing, filling, ringing out, packaging, etc.
Required Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be registered with the Georgia Board of Pharmacy
Must be pharmacy technician board certified verified through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
Must have the ability to perform the following tasks:
Customer Service
- Answer phones calls as well as triaging them to the correct department
- Reply and send out text messages to patients
- Assist all pharmacy and front store customers with their questions and concerns
- Assist with the data entry portion as well as organizing our print queues
Operations
- Comply with all federal and state laws, rules and regulations
- Comply all company policies and procedures
- Learn how to create and complete transactions
- Type in new compound orders
- Fill and complete compound orders
Inventory Management
- Keeping track of medication inventory to ensure items are in stock
- Checking in drug orders
- Management of drug inventory expiration
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous retail experience preferred
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
