Privacy Analyst

Responsibilities

As a Privacy Analyst, you will support ongoing activities related to H-E-B's Privacy Program, including Texas privacy law compliance. You will serve a key program oversight role, enabling H-E-B to meet compliance obligations, including consumer rights requests.Once you're eligible, you'll become an Owner in the company, so we're looking for commitment, hard work, and focus on quality and Customer service. • Analyze trends; develop reporting algorithms and models; prepare results; present findings/recommendations to identify compliance issues and risks within the privacy program
• Proactively provide credible, action-oriented analysis and recommendations to privacy office leaders and business management
• Collaborate with cross-functional business units (e.g., Internal Audit, Digital, QA, and Legal) to develop, implement, and monitor privacy office policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Develop, document, and maintain Privacy Office policies and SOPs
• Conducts periodic reviews and year-end audits to ensure efficiency and quality of privacy office processes
• Conducts due diligence of third-party providers of privacy office services and periodic reviews of service level agreements, compliance with contractual terms, and cost tracking
• Manages, coordinates, and documents activity with external parties and regulatory agencies
• Actively participates in industry-related associations and organizations related to privacy

What is your background?

• A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience
• 4 years of experience in data analysis, preferably compliance-related
• Experience in budgeting and expense tracking
• International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) CIPP/US certification preferred
