We are currently seeking an Entry-Level Accountant to join our NYC office. The position is responsible for accounts payable functions as well as general accounting functions.

Responsibilities
Salary Range- $60,000-$70,000 annually. Salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities
- Maintain petty cash accounts and log all outgoing disbursements
- Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including preparation of and posting journal entries
- Oversee accounts payable transactions
- Support the month-end close process, including the preparation of account reconciliations
- Collaborate with team members for interim and year-end audit
- Perform other duties and special projects as needed
- Support compliance with financial, GAAP standards, and company policies
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Zero to six years of relevant experience
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Self-motivated, dependable with deadlines; able to multi-task
- Knowledge of Deltek Vantagepoint (preferred)
