- What You’ll Do
- Manage a High-Performing Engineering Team – Supervise, develop, and support process engineering staff, ensuring the successful execution of projects while fostering professional growth.
- Be a Technical Authority in Process Engineering – Provide deep expertise in process design, optimization, and troubleshooting, ensuring high-quality engineering solutions.
- Develop and Optimize Process Systems – Prepare and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Heat & Material Balances, and P&IDs. Conduct process simulations using Aspen HYSYS and perform key sizing calculations for process equipment.
- Drive Team Development & Mentorship – Provide coaching, technical training, and career development for direct reports, ensuring team members have the support, knowledge, and tools to excel in their roles.
- Enhance Process Safety & Compliance – Conduct hazard and operability studies (HAZOP), evaluate system safety, and ensure compliance with industry standards such as ASME, API, and NFPA.
- Collaborate Across Disciplines – Work closely with other engineering disciplines, project managers, construction, and leadership team to ensure seamless integration of process engineering solutions in EPC projects.

- What It Takes to Succeed (Qualifications & Skills)
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering with 7 years of experience in process engineering, design, and operations within the petrochemical industry.
- Expertise in process simulation tools (HYSYS, Aspen, Pro-II) and unit operations such as distillation, reaction systems, purification, and heat exchange.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess and optimize existing processes and equipment.
- Deep understanding of HAZOP studies, environmental compliance, and process safety best practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills—capable of mentoring and developing engineers while collaborating across disciplines.
